When we asked her why she said that she “just loves the tree lot scene”. A lot of us can relate to that one right?

Our resident ‘Mrs. Claus’ Ginger chose the classic Miracle on 34th St.

“Because I Believe,” she told us. Ginger’s favorite holiday is Christmas–as you can tell from all the festive displays that she has built throughout the outdoor nursery!

Paige’s pick was, Winnie the Pooh Christmas. “Because I love Winnie the Pooh and it’s about sharing” Those of us who work with this sweet girl, were not surprised by her choice!

rudolph-red-nosed-reindeer-001Erin told us her favorite Christmas movie is The Bishop’s Wife with Cary Grant and Loretta Young. “Old Hollywood glamour, ice-skating and a happy ending…what’s not to love?” “Although,” she said, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the claymation version, is probably a close second. Especially the soundtrack!”

A Christmas Story was a definite favorite with our staff. Kim also picked A Christmas Story “because it’s such a classic”, and Antoni agreed.IMG_3920

Nancy, our porch pot powerhouse and container designer extraordinaire, said that if she had to pick it would be, It’s A Wonderful Life. “It has a good beginning and a good ending and it shows you that hope is crucial.”

IMG_3895Chase grew up with A Christmas Story and said, “it reminds me of me and my brother, we both got bb guns one year and hurt each other with them!”

The Nightmare Before Christmas is Brandy’s favorite. Are you surprised? Well, Brandy contends that it is, ” a spooktacular movie! The perfect combination of Halloween and Christmas, my two favorite holidays.”

Tony2picsWhen Tony’s not working hard out in the tree lot, he is a big fan of Scrooged. “Because it has Bill Murray and he is spectacular!”

We hope you enjoyed this blog post, and maybe got some good recommendations for holiday movies this season. What’s your favorite Christmas movie? Leave us a message in comments, we always love to discover more holiday classics.
