Hey Snap Happy Gardeners!
It’s that time of the season for our Mid-Fall Photo Contest and we’re looking for anything outdoors that promotes this time of year: pumpkins, gourds, decorated porches, autumn gardens, seasonal containers, harvested veggies, etc.
If it feels like fall, then it looks like fall!

First prize receives a $20 gift certificate to our store!

- One photo per submitter (only one submission please)
- Make sure the photo in .jpeg format

We’ve so enjoyed all your beautiful photos in 2013. And been truly inspired by them!!!
This year we’d like to continue the fun with some “themed” photo contests. The first one we’re calling “Winter Joy”.
Post pics on our Facebook page of those plants or garden pieces that really get you through the dark days of winter.
We won’t go through submissions until Friday January 10th. Several folks told us that they’d like a little more time to prep. Soooo, with that in mind. We are running this contest for 2 weeks. This gives you plenty of time to take that perfect picture!
Happy New Year and Good Luck!
Hello friends! This week our “Photo of the Week” contest continues on Facebook. Here’s how it works: You post photos of your garden, projects and containers to our Facebook page. Every week we will choose a winner who will receive a gift planter.
It’s that simple!
So if you didn’t post anything this week, be sure to get your photos posted for next week’s contest. Here’s the winning photo this week:
Karen Glenn Mason’s shade garden really wowed us. We enjoyed the subtle use of texture and color in creating this serene space, the broad-leaved hostas in harmonious counterpoint to the spiky sword ferns. The use of boulders really gave it a true ‘Northwest’ feel. And we thought the garden art added just the right touch of whimsy to this shady retreat.
Wouldn’t you like to relax here on a summer afternoon? Thanks for sharing Karen!
You could win next week, just post your fun gardening photos to our Facebook page
